Newborn mentoring sessions
I have been approached by loads of people with regards to a workshop...and after nearly a year of trying to organise it, have concluded that it is rather difficult - I wanted to have 3 babies per workshop and keep it to small groups so that attendees can get experience in actually handling a baby. But, babies for some reason don't just fall out of the sky on demand and the logistics of getting my clients to all give birth on the same day, proved to be impossible ;)))
I still feel I want to do something for those that want to get into this side of photography, so have come up with the mentoring sessions...basically, you send me your details and as soon as a newborn is booked, I will let you know. Please bear in mind that I normally book these sessions in the week around 11h00. There are some on the weekends, but those are more scarce.
You will come through a little before the session and we will have a chat about communicating with the parents, posing the baby and prop setup, flow of a session, and the little tricks that you learn as you go along. Once the session starts, you will mostly be an observer to see how I do a session but I will also involve you with some of the poses and explain what I'm doing and why throughout the session. The aim is that you walk out of there with the knowledge to do your own session and to improve your confidence.
If this appeals to you, drop me a mail on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and I will send you all the information :)
